Please enjoy this huge photo dump from my first solo show Re//Generate: Eco-Accountability in Art & Fashion.

I’ve been working on this project since 2024 and to see it get so much media attention and community support has been so heart warming.

Last Saturday was the show’s reception and artist talk and I’m still floating from getting to connect with so many people who came to support my art and who want to incorporate more regenerative practices into their own lives.

As part of this project, I created a zine with information on how to create your own plant-based film developers. There is a digital version of this guide on my website, link in bio or JessBeaudin.ca/links.

This exhibition and zine was funded by .council and hosted in space.

I’m not the only one who released a big project recently 🌸 released their debut album Kissing the Flowers Open last month! We made these images last spring for their album. Honoured to have the second image as their album art. Give the project a listen ✨

is the next designer featured in my upcoming solo show Re//Generate: Eco-Accountability in Art & Fashion, which opens THIS SATURDAY!! Each week leading up to my solo show, I’ve been sharing images and thoughts from one of the sessions I did with the seven designers.

Delayne’s concept was the only one created at night! As part of post production I printed out som of the images and scanned them back into my computer (slide 1).

This was also the only concept I used BW film stock for the plant-developed images and they look so different than when I use coloured stocks.

Re//Generate highlights the ways 7 B.C. femme designers are making their practices more sustainable through their connections to land and culture. The show invites conversation about what we can innovate in our everyday lives to be more eco-conscious, collaborative, and re-connect with the practices we are encouraged to forget.

The show runs from May 2- 28th at the Old Kamloops Courthouse in the Alcove gallery. Gallery reception and artist talk is on Saturday May 9th from 1-3pm.
