A lot of decision making goes into culling and editing your galleries. Here is my thought process behind one image I edited today.

I never use ai to edit images; everything is done by hand! This is why your galleries take a few weeks to deliver (I think it’s worth the wait)!

Here is the last set of images featured in my solo show Re//Generate: Eco-Accountability in Art & Fashion.

Ann-Marie Hak (Ann Marie Hak ) is a designer based in Huston B.C. She up-cycles old linens into custom pieces for her and her community. Hal draws from her Filipino and Czech heritage, incorporating floral motifs, beading, and embroidery in her designs.

I wanted to embroider Ann Marie’s images to highlight the intricate details in her work, however I didn’t have time to do that before my show last month. I still wanted to make samples to play with the concept, seen in this carousel.

All Our Relations Pride Gathering

The venue is wheelchair accessible, and all washrooms will be gender neutral for the event.

Please enjoy this huge photo dump from my first solo show Re//Generate: Eco-Accountability in Art & Fashion.

I’ve been working on this project since 2024 and to see it get so much media attention and community support has been so heart warming.

Last Saturday was the show’s reception and artist talk and I’m still floating from getting to connect with so many people who came to support my art and who want to incorporate more regenerative practices into their own lives.

As part of this project, I created a zine with information on how to create your own plant-based film developers. There is a digital version of this guide on my website, link in bio or JessBeaudin.ca/links.

This exhibition and zine was funded by .council and hosted in space.
