Sneak peek for K&D’s wedding!!!

What a memorable day. It was so amazing to see how their family and friends surrounded them with so much love — cheering them on, celebrating every moment, and supporting them throughout their wedding day.

And the weather… well, we definitely embraced it. I’ll admit, I had my stressful moment at home looking at the forecast, but then I took a breath and decided we were going to make it work. And we did.

We were so blessed with a little sunshine for their golden hour photos, and it turned into one of those beautiful moments that you just can’t plan.

And yes, I stole them right from the dance floor for their first dance outside. Worth it. 🤍

K&D, thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day, the love, the happy tears, the crazy weather, the laughter, and all the little moments in between.

Every photographer today in Calgary and area had a stressful time checking the forecast and seeing the rain. But we work around it and it was beautiful.

🌻 One more sunflower evening!

If you haven’t made it to the sunflower field yet, I have one more night on Thursday, August 27, from 7–8 PM — and only 3 spots left!

And this evening was such a special one with this beautiful family.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing them three times over the years, so it was wonderful to see them again. They’ve since moved closer to Edmonton, but they were back in town to celebrate a very special milestone — their mom’s graduation.

Somehow, all the stars aligned. They were in town, I had a sunflower mini evening planned, and they were able to join me in the field. I’m so happy we made it happen!

Congratulations on this amazing achievement and this exciting new chapter. It was so lovely to see you all again and capture these memories together. 🌻

Last night was one of those little evenings that filled my cup. 🌻

Sunflower Minis can be tricky to organize in the middle of summer. Everyone has vacations, camping trips, plans… and last-minute sessions are not always easy to fill.

But that one family who came completely made my night

The light was beautiful, the sunflowers were glowing, and there was something so nice about slowing down, photographing, laughing, and just enjoying the evening.

Sometimes you don’t need a full schedule to have a perfect night.

Sometimes one family is enough to fill your cup.

P.S. These photos were taken by my husband a few days ago, who was very patient with me while I said, “Just one more!” about millions times. 😂 . So I got a little something for myself too — a few new headshots. Because, apparently, the photographer needs photos of herself once in a while too.
