Times are hard for everyone right now, so why don’t we work to spread the love and support for each other? I am personally going to put more effort into engaging with small businesses because I know I’m guilty of living in my bubble. I want to practice what I preach. If you own a business, let me know in the comments and I’ll be sure to give your latest posts some love.

After my post yesterday I feel like I need to lighten the mood a bit. So here are a few of my favourite puffin shots from Newfoundland last month. It’s hard to be sad when you’re around these cuties.

I do have some things to say after hearing from people after yesterday’s post, and I’ll share my thoughts soon. Thank you to everyone who reached, it feels good to know I’m not alone and to know I still have so much support 🩵

I have been holding a lot inside and I feel like it’s time to be transparent about my business. I am not trying to guilt anyone. I know people have their reasons for booking a photographer - or not. I just don’t want to pretend anymore that everything is going great.

This business is my first baby. I built it alone from the ground up. I am so proud of myself for even trying and for doing it for almost 16 years.

But things change. I don’t know what that means yet for my business but I feel the tides turning. I have so much in my heart that I want to create, but maybe I need to take a step back before I can move forward.
