From a nursery that was carefully created to welcome a brand new family member to the warmth of your living room where you gather to laugh together to a special park or outside venue that you frequently visit - when you see the moments I capture for you I want your photos to feel like home to you and for each be a beautiful reminder of the love that surrounds you. Hello! 👋 It's been a while!
Just popping in to clarify that I am not registered as a photographer through the Bark.com website. This page collects information from potential clients and then sends it to me with an option to pay to contact them. The price is ridiculous and the validity of potential clients feels questionable.
As someone who has always done photography as a creative outlet and a fun (yet very part-time) side gig I am not going to start investing in services like this.

I have noticed more traffic to this page in recent months, perhaps due to this site or maybe just generically, and wanted to post this information so that anyone who may want to chat about photography services doesn't feel discouraged when I don't answer messages through that website.
I always welcome everyone to reach out to me directly through this page.

I haven't posted here in a while because the friends and connections that I take photos for have preferred privacy when it comes to their photos and also typically use them for gifts so I don't want to ruin a surprise. That being said, my silence on the page doesn't mean I'm not still behind the camera

Anyone want to give me a reason to do a happy dance?

I’m opening up a limited number of spots for Christmas mini sessions over the next few weekends mostly because this time of year wouldn’t be the same without seeing sweet cheesin’ faces.
Families, kiddos, babies, pets, couples all welcome, jammies also welcome! Outside setting and - because everything costs (SO much!) more - let’s keep it afforable too.

I didn't shoot much this year and I really miss you!

I am hoping that 2021 brings a lot more togetherness and when it does I hope to spend more time with you and your loved ones behind the lens capturing the cuddles we have all missed so much.

If you're looking for a perfect gift, and also looking to support someone local who thinks you're pretty awesome too, I am creating personalized gift certificates for sessions I will look forward to booking as soon as it's safe to be together again.

These can be emailed if you're far away or gift wrapped and delivered if you live in the local area, ready to slide under your tree.

I really hope to hear from you soon but until then I wanted to share a few shots from my favourite moments of one of the very few shoots I did this year. And yep, I was actually in the ocean, wet to my waist.

One of my favourite parts of capturing a wedding day is capturing a different kind of love story - the story of best friends who share every minute of this long-awaited day together.

I love being there as they relax and dress up beautifully together and then spend the day sharing stories and belly laughs and toasts to memories about how their own different (but just as special) love story started.

There is something so beautiful about a group of friends who share their joy and support and (every single time) I feel so lucky to share that time with them.

Here we are in Christmas card and gift giving season and if your family is looking to capture a whole lot of love and some holiday memories over the next few weeks I am opening up my schedule for some special sessions!
Here's the scoop - I am happy to come to your homes to capture your family in your own Christmas setting for special lifestyle sessions, I am happy to brave the cold weather for a fun outside shoot (Christmas tree farm anyone?!) and I am even thrilled to welcome you into my own home!

Mini shoot and longer full shoot options are both available and the turn around time is quick to ensure lots of time to mail Christmas cards. Send me along a message or comment below and I'll send more information!

Kayla and Ryan, we wish for you that every day for the rest of your lives you will smile as much as you did on your special day.
We hope that you will be surrounded by all of your incredible, supportive and fun-loving friends.
We hope your family will surround and support you just like they so eagerly did on the first day of this beautiful new chapter and we hope the giggles and kisses of your beautiful children and each other fill each of your days with joy.

Most of all we hope that you'll both feel just like you did on this amazing day, so obviously surrounded by love here and also from Heaven, for many, many more happy years to come.

What joy it was to spend time with the Arbeau family today. How beautiful it was to hear their giggles and watch them so easily cuddle and love each other. Beautiful Isla was an expert at sharing her own posing ideas (and was proud to share them!) and her amazing brother (who told me he is also a pink bunny who doesn't talk!) delighted me so. Thank you guys for sharing some Saturday with me and for letting me capture your love for each other!

What a thrill it was to be present for the start of the next chapter for Starr and Dustin. These two are so incredibly authentic, so excited about starting their life together as husband and wife and they were so happy on their day that was crafted exactly the way they imagined it would be. And just when I thought I had seen it all they pulled out amazing two-step moves on the dance floor.
I hope this sneak peek (with many more to come) reminds you of the love that was all around you, from people close by, and close at heart, on your very special day!
