Mom had a vision for this one and it came together SO perfectly. The boots, the denim, the western details, the ribs… every little piece just works. And this little guy absolutely understood the assignment. 😂🤎

I was hoping to launch all of my family Christmas minis this week, but I’ve been spending a little more time behind the scenes getting everything just right. 🎄✨

I’ve been planning, hunting for the perfect backdrops, curating all the little details and working through SO many ideas for this year’s Christmas season.

There are just too many looks I love to choose only one or two so this year I’m putting together a really fun mix of different Christmas sets and experiences: classic, cozy, neutral, playful and magical, while also bringing back a few highly requested favourites from past years. ❤️

Even Santa is getting a little refresh!
I want to give you something that feels new while still keeping that interactive workshop experience that so many families have loved over the years. 🎅🏼

It’s taking me a little longer than I originally planned because I really want everything to come together beautifully but I’m SO excited about what’s coming.

Santa is already LIVE and the rest of Christmas will be launching within the week!

It’s going to be an amazing year! ✨

This little miss absolutely showed up for her cake smash! The tiny pigtails. The gingham dress. The biggest, happiest smile. I kept trying to choose a few favourites but every photo was somehow cuter than the one before it - so you’re getting 15 😂

This is your reminder that newborn sessions don’t have to be all sleepy poses and tiny curled-up stretches. ❤️

At around 7 weeks old, this sweet girl brought so much personality into her session bright eyes, little expressions, sleepy moments and all those tiny details that are changing by the day.

There’s something really special about photographing babies at this stage because you start to see more of them.

Their little looks.
Their alert moments.
The beginning of those expressions you’re going to know so well.

And yes, we can still get those soft, sweet newborn images too.
If your baby is already here, don’t worry about fitting into a perfect timeline. I’d much rather document the stage you’re in than have you miss it completely.

Summer has been so incredibly full this year. Between work, schedules, activities and my three kids all somehow being in such a weird, consuming stage at the exact same time, it has felt like a LOT. 😂

And somehow it’s also been the strangest summer weather-wise not even consistently warm enough to really feel like summer!

As much as I love having the kids home and making summer memories, I am so ready to get back into our normal routine.

School days, work days, studio days, regular schedules… all of it.

I’m also really looking forward to getting back into a more creative rhythm with my work again and spending more time photographing the things I love most:

Maternity, newborns, babies and motherhood.

September feels like a bit of a reset and I’m very ready for it. 💜
