The rhythm of winter into spring; the cycle of death into new life 🌱

There is a quiet tension in the air right now—the last frost clings as the first green pushes through.

This body of work on display explores the rhythm of seasons and life cycles. These pieces sit in that liminal space where an ending becomes the foundation of growth; a reminder that within every ending lies the quiet potential for new life.

The rot feeds the roots. The cycle continues.

On display now through March 30th

📍 Gino's Coffee House, 8316 Main Street, Osoyoos

I'll be there to enjoy the Open Mic (6:30pm!)—come say hi, grab a drink, and see the work in person. No cover!

Tired Eyes Look to Hopeful Skies

A four-part collection tracing the nonlinear depths of burnout.

Some days it feels like light and colour can’t touch you.

Other days there’s just enough brightness to keep you moving.

Sometimes everything flares red.

Sometimes it breaks into a full kaleidoscope of dreams.

My backyard is a mini wildlife documentary! 🕷️🐝

Five years ago, my yard was barren, with nearly dead soil and barely a bug in sight. My mission to rewild it has turned it into a thriving ecosystem and my personal sanctuary.

A sure sign of success? The generations of jumping spiders who have come to trust me. This brilliant little lady caught a bee and seemed happy to pose with her prize.

While I love my bees, I remember that in nature's cycle, death is sustenance. The bees have had all summer on this sage, with the elder bees naturally slowing down. This feels like a sustainable catch—an old bee becoming sustenance for the next generation.

Fun fact: as they move from flower to flower, jumping spiders are also considered pollinators! A perfect reminder that every creature has a role to play.
