Hi all!
It has been awhile but I figured I should give an update on life after yet another hiatus.
2024 has been full of downs when it comes to my health making it very difficult to be a business owner.
In February I was diagnosed with a chronic form of leukemia. Since then it has been a rollercoaster ride to say the least from failed treatments to non stop hospital trips etc.
I stepped back here because it’s hard to make plans when your day to day is so unpredictable and being the type of person who feels every client deserves my full attention I felt it was best.
Currently I am being tested to see if I am resistant to the new gen medications that I take to control my cancer as another has failed to get things under control.
With that being said some weddings are booked well in advance and so I poured my energy into those to ensure they had me at my best. I would like to thank the 4 couples whose weddings I did this summer.
You were all so accommodating and understanding throughout everything and I will never forget the kindness you all showed me.
This was not my typical wedding season but it is one I will never forget.
Thank you to this community as well for your understanding as I’ve taken the time to find the best ways to be a business owner while dealing with incurable cancer.
Thank you to my fellow photographers for all your help as well… I’m grateful for each of you who have been there for me personally and professionally. Your friendships are cherished.
