These photos are NOT perfect.

My thoughts during the first round of edits:
😕 This venue's lights were crazy yellow
😩 I wish my flash was in the other corner
🤔 If only those people weren't in the background
😱 Why on earth did I shoot in that direction?
😔 List goes on and on

But then I remember—these shots aren’t for me. They’re for my couples who want to see themselves ✨enjoying their wedding✨

No, these photos aren’t technically perfect. Not even close. But my couples don’t care — and I’m reminded that shouldn’t be my main focus either.

Capturing real moments and feelings is what I do best.

What I tell my couples: Wedding days go by fast, and it’s easy to get caught up with everything happening around you.

Find an empty room and spend a moment alone with each other. It doesn't have to be scheduled, and you're welcome to use me as the reason you're being pulled away.

Let yourselves breathe, take it all in, and remember that this quiet moment — just the two of you — is what the whole day is truly about.

Hi there! I'm Theo, a wedding photographer based in Ottawa (but open to travelling anywhere! 🛫)

My approach to wedding photography is simple, make it as stress-free as possible so you can enjoy your day!

Worried about photography taking up half your wedding day? I'm not one who will spend an hour positioning every tiny detail to take a single 'perfect' shot. I use efficient direction so even camera shy couples get beautiful shots that look natural, while also having a great time.

My style is timeless and truer to life. I blend using a lighter tone when possible, but always happy to get creative when in any other environment.

Flashback to one of my favourite weddings last season! It rained most of the day but S&A had such a great attitude to carry on, and it paid off!

Later the sky opened up to the most beautiful golden sunset. Can you believe they didn't even need any prompting for him to carry and spin her around? Amazing!
