When you think of an intimate at home wedding, I bet you didn’t think it could be this fabulous ✨✨

Luxury to me does not always mean these big, extravagant weddings… this lakeside Ontario wedding was an intimate setting for 12. You, your partner, and your nearest and dearest.

What a gift it is to hand select an intimate guest list and have a beautifully decorated event right at home. With the right team and a bit of vision, you can have luxury without the overwhelming crowd and I think it’s perfect. 🤍🤍

POV: Slipping into your wedding gown to marry the love of your life.

One of my biggest take aways from this specific moment was this - BRIDES! Put the veil on before the dress! 🤩 The way it elevated the moment and softened some of these shots. I’m obsessed.

Corners of the Carswell House

Do you ever walk into a home and immediately get a sense of the lives that lived there before. The love, the laughter, the loss.. This was one of those places for me. As someone who feels deeply, I was moved. Truly.

Some sweet snaps in one of my favourite locations 🤍🤍

The drive to and from Pinhey’s Point is so, so, so peaceful and I think this really sets the tone for how I show up to some of my sessions. I give myself plenty of time to slow down and take in the scenery. Listen to some chill music on the drive. And then walk the grounds before my clients show up.

A small but important reminder.

- when I do family shoots, I try to get at least one photo of just the couple. Because they are rare.

You lay down everything for your babies. It’s easy to forget who you were before them. But this one photo is a reminder of the foundation you laid in the beginning. That no matter how different things look, it’s still the two of you… plus some extra love. 💕
