Why do you feel resistance when you try to post?

You know your ideal client. You know your messaging. You know your impact.

So why does showing up online still feel hard?

The answer is usually your visuals.

With all the care, depth, and insight your messaging holds, your visuals need to keep up. If they don’t, you’ll feel that disconnect.

That’s the block every time you try to post, or update your website. You want visuals that support and strengthen your message.

How much are your “just looks nice” or “has no substance” visuals costing you?

A brand session captures so much of who you are and your business.

Your identity, values, work, audience, impact, confidence, wardrobe, visibility.

It can feel overwhelming because all of these deeply matter to you.

1. You want visuals that feel like you. Who you are is a deep part of your brand, and you need to be represented authentically.

2. You need to determine what visuals your missing. Are the holes in your website? Social media? Overall presence? Etc.? By knowing your holes, we can plan what photos will strategically fill those gaps in the best way possible.

3. What outfits should you wear? What makes you feel confident and present and also represents you and your business? Is it a uniform? Your own personal style? Do you want to work with a stylist to help you bring your outfits in alignment with yourself?

4. What location will best represent your brand? Do you have a physical office? Is the fit better outside? In a studio?

5. How do I pose or move on session day to look “natural”? (My answer is direction, where I give little tips and tricks to bridge the camera’s eye, while helping you feel confident and present in the moment)

6. Maybe it all feels overwhelming. That’s okay too.

What part feels hardest to you?

Comment your number.

Let's talk about it!

Confidence on session day comes from preparation.

We can laugh, direct, share ideas and details, and have fun because the stress is already gone.

We know our priorities. We know the sessions goals, the impact we want to deliver, and the emotions we want to be felt.

You get to be yourself on session day because you feel supported.

And yes, we have lots of fun! 😁

A lot of people don’t like being photographed. The reasons vary, but have one underlining theme: people worry that they won't see themselves in their photos.

My job is to make it feel like the camera isn’t even there, so every photo bursts with yoir authentic self!

How? We plan to ensure you, your brand, your values, your impact, and your business all show up exactly as you see them and want them to be seen.

Through my heard, seen, safe framework, I make sure that I fully understand everything you stand for, and that my understanding is in turn verified by you in my storyboard. When our visions align, we all walk into the session with confidence.

Confidence that we understand each other.

Confidence that we are building the same visuals.

Confidence that nothing has been forgotten.

And a game plan to follow to capture all the important moments.

That’s direction. That’s how the moments feel real, and how we can all just be ourselves.

Brand photography is an exercise in self trust.

Would you believe that this revelation came from bouldering?! (Rock climbing without a harness)

When you boulder, you need to believe in yourself and your abilities. You're constantly plagued by worries over whether you can reach that next hold, if this problem is above your skill level, or if you'll fall down (I've done that a few times already, but I'm still in one piece! 🤣)

And your brand visuals are exactly the same.

To succeed, you can't wait until you're ready, because you never will be.

You'll always have a part of you that questions whether or not you deserve to be where you are, or whether or not your qualified.

All of us deal with imposter syndrome, but what we choose to believe in is what matters.

You're ready because you choose to be ready.

“I am allowed to be seen, understood, and felt at this level.”

“I am allowed to look like the person I am becoming.”

“I am allowed to let my people see and understand what has changed.”

When you embody your next level self, you carry yourself differently and you're seen differently.

You become the leader you always were, and continue to grow as you are always meant to! 💖

Too many people get stuck in the trap of trying to look like the picture perfect “professional” in their field.

The real professionals stand out as leaders for a reason. They lean into what makes them unique, unapologetically stand behind their values and ideas, and present themselves accurately.

“Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery” is just that; imitation.

Unapologetically you is the truest form of leadership.

Stop trying to be something you're not or the industry standard of “professional”.

When you show up accurately, your audience gets to see what your world looks like. They get a sneak peak into the experience of working with you. They start seeing themselves as your clients. And they get sold before they ever hop on that first call.

Tell me something about yourself that you are unapologetically proud of in the comments!

I'll go first: I'm a typest type A planner and a creative! That balance is one of my greatest strengths!

What does safety mean to you?

For me, it means knowing that I can trust myself and all who I work with to be working towards the same vision, while upholding the same values.

It means having the structure to know that my message is being represented accurately and impactfully. It means knowing the impact I’ll deliver. It means trusting my support network and the experts I collaborate with.

And that’s exactly what I build for all of my clients!

How do you stay confident sharing your story and vision?

Let me know in the comments!
