170,000km Worth of Memories 🌎

The S15 Silvia never made it to North America officially. Nissan sold it everywhere else Japan, Australia, parts of Europe but not here. That decision turned it into one of the most sought-after imports of the 90s era, and finding a clean, well-kept example today is genuinely difficult.
What makes this one stand out isn’t just the aero or the build it’s how it was used. 26 US states, 170,000 kilometers, Florida Keys and back, all while staying mostly stock underneath. That’s a level of trust in a car most people would trailer to a show.

The S15 has a way of pulling people deep into car culture drifting, community, travel. When a car does all of that, letting it go isn’t really about the car anymore. It’s about what comes next.

A Build You Can’t Recreate 🛠️

Before custom builds became a trend, companies like Gemballa were already doing it back in the 80s. Gemballa built their reputation on transforming Porsches — the 930 Turbo, the Carrera, the 928. Very few people know they ever touched a BMW. This isn’t a modified E30, it’s a factory built Gemballa car, originally commissioned for a client in Japan and built as its own identity from the start.

Cars like this sit in a different category. You can replicate a look, you can build something similar, but you can’t recreate the history, the VIN, or the origin behind it.
What makes this one even more interesting is how it’s used. Instead of being locked away, it’s driven, experienced, and kept alive the way it was meant to be. A rare piece of automotive history that didn’t just survive, it stayed relevant!

Before the Hype Took Over 👀

Long before the AE86 became a global icon, it was just another Corolla. Cheap, lightweight, and overlooked. Cars like this were daily drivers, not collector pieces and that’s exactly how Peter found his. Over time, everything changed. Between the rise of Japanese drift culture, growing nostalgia, and exposure through games, movies, and anime, the AE86 slowly transformed from an ordinary chassis into one of the most sought after classics. Finding one today especially at the kind of price they once sold for is nearly impossible.

Peter’s car reflects that shift. Bought when these were still attainable, kept through years of use, setbacks, and a long rebuild, it represents a time when ownership came before hype. The result isn’t just a clean AE86, it’s a piece of that transition, from everyday Corolla to modern legend.

This GT3 Wasn’t Meant for the Street 🅿️

Most race cars stay on the track. This one didn’t.

Starting with a real BMW Z4 GT3 chassis means nothing about this build followed a normal path. Turning something designed purely for competition into something usable beyond the paddock takes a different mindset, one focused on problem-solving, engineering, and a willingness to do things the hard way.

This build sits in a space that rarely exists: not a replica, not a show-only car, and not something the factory ever intended to be street legal. That’s what makes it special. It doesn’t try to fit a category, it creates one.

Hyundai’s Forgotten Gem 💎

The Hyundai Tiburon was never the obvious choice for a build—especially when most of its rivals had bigger aftermarket scenes. But that’s exactly why Adam Follwell car stands out. Sixteen years of ownership has turned his Tiburon into something rare in today’s car culture: a platform most forgot, kept alive through pure commitment.

What makes this build unique isn’t just the turbo setup or show-quality interior—it’s the persistence. Finding parts meant sourcing from Korea and Europe, or fabricating one-offs when nothing existed. Instead of moving on to a more popular chassis, Adam doubled down, evolving the car through patience and creativity.

It’s proof that passion doesn’t follow trends—it creates them.
