"byfield~pitman photography" Based in Ottawa since 1997. Specialized in candid and natural wedding photography, events, & portraits.

Our photographs are very candid and photojournalistic and our work is best characterized by the sense of narrative that's often present in our pictures. Whether it's the emotion captured in a moment shared between a couple on their wedding day, or whether it's the poised and confident, yet also warm, friendly, and approachable nature that our subjects often convey in our portraits, the common thread in our work is how at ease people look in front of our camera.
