Alot time in your wedding day timeline for cocktail photos. You'll want candids during your cocktail hour. Trust. Thats when you get all the good visiting and hug photos. If thats something your envisioning when you look at your final wedding gallery, then please discuss with your photographer how you can adapt your timeline and ask them how much coverage you truly need.
Having a rushed day, to try and fit everything into 6 or 8 hours can sometimes hinder if you can get to cocktail hour on time and just get to enjoy it with your guests.

I really encourage you to have fun and be present during that time. It should be for you too. A little rest from all the picture taking is a good thing. 😊

Here is a wedding to look at from last fall at Hunt Farms, while I edit this years! I believe I only had two in 2025 but this season I got to photograph the beautiful autumn colours at multiple weddings. Many of which took place wither on private acres or the Farmstead in Pembroke. So I will definitely be showing those galleries off when they are ready!!

One of my favorite engagements to this day! So many beautiful spots in the Ottawa Valley for photos. Sometimes you just gotta get out of your car to find them.

A little secret of mine, is that a lot of locations I learn about are actually from my clients sharing them with me!! If I love it, then I add it to my list of locations I suggest to future clients that need more guidance. This is definitely one of those spots!!
