I am a lover of Jesus, music, people, and of course photography. Capturing moments on camera has been a passion of mine for a very long time now, and let me tell you why. It all started when I was young. Ever since I can remember I have seen the world and people in a unique way. Growing up I would frequently steal my parents camera and run off to do photoshoots with friends, because I absolutely l
oved being able to capture the beauty that I saw through a lens. Whenever we had parent teacher meetings at school my teachers would often tell my parents that I was frequently looking out the window day dreaming, and it is because of this wild imagination that I fell deeply in love with photography. It didn’t take long for me to realize that I wanted to take this passion and turn it in to my career. The thought of doing something I loved for a living sounded pretty amazing to me. Fast forward many years later after studying photography and owning my own business for 8 years, I can honestly say that I love what I do more and more each passing day. What started as a passion to capture beauty has grown in to so much more than that. You see, it is so easy for us to get caught up in life over insignificant details, and allow time to pass without stopping to soak in the beauty that each day holds. And that is why I love photography so much. It forces you to stop and appreciate the beauty in life, relationship, and moments that are fleeting. Life is way too short not to celebrate these things. For at the end of the day, it is the people in your life and the love you share that truly matters. Whether it be the look on a grooms face when he sees his bride, the joy exuding from parents eyes as they hold their newborn child, the uncontrollable laughter that erupts after your father makes an inappropriate joke at your reception, the warmth in your grandparents smile as they tell you how proud they are of you, the anticipation leading up to a bride walking down the aisle, or the utter joy that fills your entire being when looking in to the eyes of the one you love most… I love that I get to capture these things in a beautiful way for you to treasure for the rest of your life.
