A few photos from the 19th annual Festival Breakfast presented by Kelly Santini LLP that took place earlier this week to celebrate the achievements of Special Olympics leadership, local volunteers, coaches, and athletes. Former Ottawa Senators defenceman Chris Phillips delivered the keynote speech, an inspiring talk on the power of sport. Mayor Mark Sutcliffe presented the Athletic Achievement and Volunteer Dedication Awards to this year’s deserving recipients.

Over 340,000 canadians live with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis - they are the reason that the community came together last week at the annual Martini Madness fundraising evening at Lago Bar Grill View. This high profile event raises money to fund research and to find cures. An endless flow of martinis, gourmet food stations including oysters from Mati Ottawa, music, art, amazing auction items, and an engaged crowd....this was the place to be and all for a great cause close to my heart. The highlight was hearing Andy Mac Isaac speak so candidly about his personal health journey. Thank you for the opportunity to capture this incredible event.

A beautiful evening at the Canadian Tulip Festival - Festival canadien des tulipeswith the sweetest couple. You can't tell that we were surrounded by people, they only had eyes for each other ❤ The backdrop was stunning with so many colourful blooms. Oh..and that vintage dress is everything 🌷

Highly recommend a visit to Carleton University Art Gallery's current exhibition 'The Air of the Now and Gone' featuring selected works that "ask visitors to refuse to look away from the wicked problem of climate change while engaging a spectrum of resonant and unexpected emotional responses". I was there to document the launch a few weeks ago.
