I remember the day like it was yesterday when Lindsey Gibeau Photography walked into my Valberg Imaging studio on Richmond Road in Westboro Village. She had just returned from Australia and made a stop at the Canadian Museum of Nature where she had come across my Arctic Kaleidoscope exhibition. A mere hour later (flukey), she found herself starring into my studio. Lindsey had studied photography and, by what felt like divine timing, was looking for a job. Earlier that day, I had learned Jen File was leaving my studio to move to Australia. Coincidence? I’d say it was something greater—like the universe was brewing up some magic.
That was 13 years ago. Since then, I’ve watched Lindsey flourish not only as a photographer but as a person, building a beautiful career and family. We’ve worked together all these years, and I’m beyond proud of her. Lindsey, you are a true artist, and I am forever grateful for your friendship and talent.
Thank you for the recent branding session at Westboro Studio! Everyone knows I’m not one to love being in front of the camera (much better behind it), but you made it fun and easy, and you helped me feel so at ease.
