The day after the "120+ mm of rain" day, Caitlin and Joey and their loved ones, worked overtime to get their Carp farm dry and ready for their wedding.
A beautiful backdrop of rich green corn and moody clouds for the ceremony, and a barn with drapery, strung lights, and babies breath, made for the perfect backdrop for their reception.
One thing that I loved about this wedding was that the couple decided to have an intimate ceremony (with many more guests coming later) and asked if everyone coming could dress in a certain colour scheme (in one of the pictures, you can see the array of colours they suggested). As a photographer, I appreciated and loved this so much because it truly made the pictures so much more pleasing to the eye. There is a family picture I've added where you can see how the colours all flow together so well, and I just love how it all turned out. Had there been a few bright orange/pink/purple dresses/suits thrown in there, it would have been so much more distracting to the eye and it wouldn't have been the same. So kudos to you Caitlin and Joey!
