I’m finding more and more that parents are choosing not to share their kiddos faces online - and that’s totally fine! If you don’t want to share images of your children at all that is your choice. I always send out a questionnaire to families asking if they are okay with their photos being used before I ever post them. Don’t mind your photos being used but want children’s faces kept out? That works too. My goal through the whole process of creating with me is to make sure you and your kids are heard. No pressure, just fun!

I will never stop being obsessed with seeing women emerge from maiden to mother. Having the honour of documenting their pregnancy and then coming back a few week later and seeing them after they have been transformed by birth is truly amazing. Mothers may know how powerful you are!

Got some kind of miraculous burst of post dinner energy and decided (after being inspired by ) to do a little self portrait session with my babies out in the yard. They both kept saying how much fun it was and were getting really into creative direction (can you tell which ideas were theirs?) I’ve been putting this off for so long - had so many excuses like needing a haircut or nothing to wear - but then I realized I actually don’t care. All I want is pictures of my kids and myself as we are right now. Feeling so blessed.

Love to the mothers today and every day. Motherhood is sacred. Xo

I always offer a call before any session if you need some wardrobe inspo - I’m always telling clients to send pics my way if they want feedback - mostly I want you to feel like YOU (which usually means there is no need to go buy a bunch of stuff).
