The perfect time for photos will never come when you are in the trenches of parenthood. Childhood doesn’t slow down or wait for that outfit to arrive or for you to feel more like yourself again. These photos will matter because they are real. Give yourself permission to accept the season you are in and indulge in the fleeting moments that you miss if you blink.

A session in your home is so special. Every day that goes by a million magical moments happen inside (and outside) your walls. Little things that you don’t even know you are going to think of and feel when you are 80. Wiping some drool off your baby’s chin. Airplane rides. Little fingers holding yours. The memories your home holds, not just from your family but the ones who lived there before, are so wild to imagine. If love can be absorbed into walls these ones are full.
