EASTERN ONTARIO’S BIGGEST OUTDOOR LIGHT FESTIVAL
This was a picture-perfect postcard setting! Close to one million lights adorned the heritage buildings, trees, and fences of Upper Canada Village, creating a one-of-a-kind magical backdrop for its annual Alight at Night Festival - a true winter wonderland!

For two nights only (December 01st and 02nd), the parking lot of Redeemer Alliance Church in Orleans, transformed into the town of Bethlehem, as it was 2000 years ago -The night Jesus was born.

The family-friendly, 30-minute guided tour featured Bethlehem's markets, the synagogue, the inn, the stable, and more!

*The church collects food donations for distribution to the less fortunate families in Ottawa, while the Community gets to meet the townspeople; the shepherds; three wise men; see live animals and receives a warm welcome with beverages and desserts by many volunteers. This is a MUST attend event for anyone who wishes to start the Holidays through a memorable experience.

Every year since 1997, the Ottawa Professional Fire Fighters' Association has been organizing the Help Santa Toy Parade and collecting toys along the parade route for distribution to the less fortunate children in Ottawa.

The parade has evolved into a significant event drawing tens-of-thousands of people who line the Parade route and share their generosity. Participants are entertained to the sights and sounds of floats, bands and clowns produced locally and from around the Community.
