LightHunter Creations A one-stop shop to promote some of my little creative projects. Hi. I'm Mike Taylor. I also do photography and am exploring various printmaking avenues.

I retired from my position as an Arts Programmer with the City of Ottawa in the fall of 2020. I have started this little business to provide a single outlet for my various creative efforts. At this time, the plan is to mostly sell hand made items at arts and crafts fairs, etc., so that I can control my schedule. I am open to collaborations on your event or exhibition. I do some work out of my home

I hope everyone had a safe and joyful holiday season and that 2026 is shaping up to be an amazing year for you. I’ve been torturing lots of clay and adding to my painted clothes collection. Here are a few recent graduates from the studio. The tallest is 4 5/8 inches tall. All polymer clay, acrylic paint and varnish on wooden bases. Will start strategizing for this year’s markets now. Will likely be getting back to posting semi-regularly, too. See ya.

We put together a few chonky bracelets this summer. They’ll also be making an appearance at the next Market, 203 Stanley Ave. Ottawa, on Saturday, September 13, from 9 am to 1 pm. Such a lovely location and relaxed event. We’ve enjoyed it, and as a new business, have been encouraged by the feedback (and sales! 😃). We might be a bit weird, but who isn’t, right? Thank you. I think there will be some more new stuff popping up between now and then. Sitting in the bullpen: Van Helsing Specials. If you know, you know. Happy September.

Hope you’re having a great long weekend. A couple weeks back the LHC team went up to northern Ontario to spend some time fishing with family and friends. We made some walleye fridge magnets for my brothers.
