Your sign to have a maternity session among the flowers this summer 💐

I’ve been itching to slow down and experiment more this summer, daydreaming of doing a whimsy session among the flowers. I’m so excited that it came to life, and to share a first glimpse into this stunning sunset session at White Rabbit Florals .

I hope these photos show that maternity sessions don’t necessarily need to be “traditional”, and can truly be a work of art.

So thankful for this wonderful mama who was up for going along with my ideas and brought all the main character energy 🤍 Stunning! We truly lucked out with a gorgeous sunset, and shot right into blue hour (my fave!).

Last but not least, a huge thanks to White Rabbit Florals for her florals and design vision in helping bring this to life 🤍🙏 She knew exactly what to put together when I sent her my inspiration board.

I’ll be sharing more from this session in the coming days 💐

A fire pit you say? Tell me more …

I love a little campfire moment in a session. The glow of a campfire creates instant romance and mood.

These two even made sure they had marshmallows on hand!

Sitting by the campfire also felt like the right time to ask them how they met.

They told me about being each others “one who got away”, before life eventually brought them back together again.

Here’s a few of my favourites from tulip motherhood mini’s this past May.

Mother Nature definitely threw us some curve balls this year. Between the tulips being quite delayed, and the pretty intense wind (of course on the weekend I decide to try the white sheet set-up for the first time), things didn’t exactly go as planned. But, we made it work!

Thank you to all my wonderful clients who were so understanding, and to Meghan at Wildling Acres who worked her butt off to make sure we had flowers, beautiful bouquets and arrangements for this year’s mini’s.
