Growing up in Pakenham, I developed a passionate interest being on the water and in nature thanks to my parents and the family life they created for us. Photography became a natural extension while enjoying these spaces. After 33 years serving in a career with a public safety interest, I rec
onnected with photography as a way of decompressing from stress accumulated in my body over the years. Through the health lessons learned on this journey, my attention was drawn toward major gaps in the health education conversation. In particular the role breathing plays. Thus, with the help and support of our community, we began creating opportunities for children and families in our community to learn more. My personal interest is, my photography and other hobbies I enjoy such as woodworking, support these endeavors that benefit both our community and our children. Proceeds from the sale of my photographs and woodworking items help support our endeavors in the 5 Span Strong Kids programmming.
