The Last Chapter
In May 2023, I had the honour of photographing Steph and her daughter.
Steph was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic triple negative breast cancer in 2019 — news that changed everything for her and the people who love her.
A Meaningful experience we created together was a session at Lavender Bridal Boutique, where I photographed Steph and her daughter as they experienced wedding dress shopping together. It was emotional, joyful, and unforgettable. Moments like this become memories Kennedy can hold onto forever.
Steph passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family and so much love, on Tuesday November 7th, 2023. 🤍
These sessions are about preserving the way someone is loved — the way they hold your hand, the way they look at the people who matter most to them, the quiet moments in between that often mean everything. They’re about creating something lasting so the people who love them can return to these photographs years from now and still feel their presence.
