I haven’t had a chance to post in a while — between family life and a stretch of pretty bad winter weather, photography has taken a bit of a back seat lately.
So to kick off 2026, I’m sharing something a little different than what I normally post. This aerial was taken last summer and now that we’re into 2026 I felt like it’s a good time to put it out there.
Does anyone know where these trees shaped like “2000” are located? 🌲🌲🌲
They were planted before the millennium as a Y2K marker, and they’re still growing strong today.
Sometimes it’s fun to look back while moving forward into a new year. Looking forward to producing some great photo content this year!

✨It was a great pleasure to be the photographer for my cousin’s special day. A crystal clear night gave us the opportunity to briefly slip away from the wedding celebrations and capture this nighttime shot of the bride and groom beneath this tree. 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🌌

Beneath emerald waters lies the wreck of the Petrie — an old fishing boat whose history has faded into mystery. Little is known about her story, but from above she rests quietly, becoming part of the landscape.

✨ A classic beauty under the stars. There’s nothing quite like a red Ford Mustang and the Milky Way lighting up the night sky. Enjoyed shooting this classic car for a client recently. Love the complimentary red and blue colours. 🚗🌌

The Pearl Mist cruise ship sails past the SS Atlantic shipwreck, on its way into Parry Sound. The Atlantic caught fire in a storm and sank in 1903. All crew and passengers on board were saved but the ship has lied, unmoved, in this watery grave.

Finally had some clear skies and no moon last night so I was able to go out and do some night photography. It’s been quite a while since I photographed this old church and I wanted to try out a technique that uses - light painting with a light on a drone. I thought a cross was fitting, with this being Easter weekend. Can you imagine the bustle of activity, singing, and music from this church 100 years ago? May you have a blessed weekend!
