So what it really means, is I have a very documentary style. Nothing is forced, everything is epic! I used to be the last person to pull out the camera to snap a picture. I would take them on occasion just to put in an album. Then, I had children, and realized that pictures aren't just about documenting memories. That was the moment I realized they were about capturing the moment in an artistic fo

rm. Creating art from the everyday. Since having my first child i have studied the camera and lighting. Inspired and practicing with my children and my friends children. I have become very passionate about creating beautiful memories and trying new things.

Tiny moments, huge memories. Siblings always included!
When these moments are documented in your home, it removes a level of stress. During sessions with multiple siblings, they don’t always want their picture taken. So if I come to your home, they are welcome to pop in and out of the photos as they please and it makes them happier to do so.

I always ask my couples for advice for future brides. I try to share it with everyone. But this couple’s advice was: Accept lots of help, assign tasks to others and don’t stress about getting transportation for others.

My goal is to remove stress from couples by sharing advice and documenting your day. I like to collect all the details so you can look back at your images and see moments that maybe you were too busy to see the day of. It’s your day, just take a moment to yourselves and enjoy it. Let others take on the stress!

Whenever we travel, I always lug my heavy camera with me. It requires extra thought about footwear, bags I’m carrying, my outfit and everything in between. But it’s important to me to document my family while away. The kids pretty much ignore my presence at this point or give me annoyed faces and just continue living their lives. Which, really makes for some great images (Sometimes). I print them in an album every year and put them on my walls in frames.
All of that being said, I really do like to make Mother’s Day count for pictures with my kids. I call it “forced family photos”. It’s the one day a year they have to be nice and smile when I ask. It’s my day, for me to get nice pictures. They can’t ignore me or make weird faces at me.
That was long winded but.. this is my early family post to promote my Mother’s Day sessions. May 1 & 2 - 20 minutes - 15+ images delivered to you before Mother’s Day so you can enjoy and post them to celebrate being the amazing mother you are!

So many moments in a wedding that make the day completely and utterly amazing. Some of my favourites are private vows. The moment you take with each other, quiet and full of purpose to hold onto a memory. The wedding venue has the most beautiful spaces to escape for those moments. Whether you have them before as a first look, or after the ceremony. This is one gorgeous space!

I have documented more weddings than I can even count and this was the first time an officiant invited the audience up to take pictures. This has to be the best possible way to compromise a phone free ceremony! Everyone gets the pictures they want and phones are not cluttering the professional images!! I loved it!
