I did some writing today : )

"Don’t get me wrong, I do love tradition, especially when tied in with sentimental nostalgia, but after eleven years in the wedding industry I have witnessed couples choose to do things their own way as well, and every single time I document those weddings I feel lit up inside.

I love the idea of taking that special day and doing whatever you want with it. I love the idea of not following a traditional wedding script, but choosing elements that speak to who you are as a couple.

I decided to highlight some of the most quirky, cool and unconventional wedding elements I have seen over the years to hopefully inspire others to feel the freedom to do the same".

"What I find so beautiful about weddings are the little things that go unnoticed. The tiny glances, the split second moments. Rarely does anyone else notice them during the day, but I am addicted to finding them, seeking them out, and documenting them so they exist forever. It's almost like a game to me, to find the moments and glances and gestures that make me feel something."
