A little reintroduction because there are some new faces around here, and apparently posting photos of everyone else doesn’t tell you much about the woman behind the camera 😂

I’m Nicole! I’m 31, a single mom to two amazing boys and the photographer behind Kindred & Frame. 📸

One of my favourite things about photography is getting to meet so many incredible people, contribute to their stories and capture memories they’ll get to keep forever. I LOVE a fun, creative shoot, but the genuine laughs, quiet little connections and perfectly imperfect in-between moments will always have my heart.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m studying Social Work at Fleming with a specialization in Mental Health & Addictions. I’m especially passionate about youth mental health and hope to build a career where I can continue connecting with and supporting people—just in a slightly different way.

A few other important details: I’m a certified crazy cat lady, mildly addicted to tattoos and always drawn to anything creative or artsy.

Basically, I’m a social-work-student-photographer-mom running primarily on creativity, chaos and probably not enough sleep. Nice to meet you! 😂🖤

Okay, if you’re in Whitby, you HAVE to go see Vanessa at her flower stand! Alongside her mom and grandma, who work hard growing these GORGEOUS flowers, Vanessa is busy selling them and bringing smiles to people every day!

While I was there capturing some photos, I even got to see a sale! The sweetest little girls came by, picked out their own flowers, paid for them themselves, and walked away so happy!

And I mean, guys… THOSE DAHLIAS! 😍
