Capturing a kid’s true personality takes more than a fast shutter speed—it takes a pocket full of silly jokes and a marathon runner’s energy. I don’t just want a nice photo - I want to bottle who they actually are!

• The Vibe: High energy and zero judgment. If we have to jump in puddles to get the shot, I’m in.
• The Strategy: Endless patience. I wait out the shy moments and lean into the wild ones.

Coming in for a newborn session and worried your baby might not sleep?

Don’t worry if your newborn is awake! As long as they are fed and have a clean diaper, we can capture beautiful images that showcase their personality and tiny features before they change.

I always try to capture both sleeping and awake images when the opportunity presents itself. While those sleepy poses are classic, the wide-eyed, curious gazes often become the most cherished photos. 🥹

Those little details—the furrowed brows, active tiny fingers, and clear eyes—disappear so fast. As long as your little one is comfortable and warm, we’ll get stunning portraits that celebrate exactly who they are right now. 🤍

While sleepy poses are a classic, I have a secret: I love a bright-eyed baby! As long as your little one is content and curious, I always aim to capture those wide-awake expressions.

During the lifestyle portion of your session, getting “eyes open” shots is one of my top priorities! These are the shots my clients almost always fall in love with the most! It’s where your baby’s unique little spirit and temperament really shine through. 🤍🥹

Whether life got in the way or you just needed a few extra weeks to settle in at home—don’t sweat it. As a mom myself, I know exactly how it goes and sometimes those first few weeks are just about survival!🤍

While the “newborn window” usually happens in the first fourteen days, life happens, and one-month newborn sessions are just as magical. At four weeks, we get to see those first intentional smiles, better eye contact, and those adorable stretchy movements.

We make a few tweaks to the posing to keep your baby comfortable, but the result is the same: timeless, authentic images that you’ll cherish forever.

It’s never too late to document the beginning of their story. 🤍
