Mother’s Day can hold so many different emotions. Today, I’m thinking of every woman carrying both love and grief in her heart.
To the women missing their moms, the moms missing their children, the women longing to become mothers, the mothers doing it all, the stepmoms, grandmas, bonus moms, grieving moms, single moms, pet moms, and the women who show up with unconditional love every single day.
For some, today is filled with celebration. For others, it’s a reminder of loss, heartbreak, emptiness, or memories that ache a little extra. Whatever today looks like for you, your feelings are valid.
Be gentle with yourself today. Celebrate if you can, grieve if you need to, and know that love never disappears, it changes shape, but it always remains.
Sending love to every woman today, especially the ones carrying heavy hearts behind their smiles.
