This first set was inspired by Chinese Midcentury fashion and incorporates one of my favourite colour combinations: pink and green 💚💖💚💖💚
I purchased a “modern” cheongsam (note the collar) from the brick & mortar store OCHI in my local Chinatown (Vancouver, BC) because I really struggle with those traditional high necklines. The fabric is a cotton linen so it can easily be worn as a chic summer dress with that lovely retro pattern. I accessorized the look with my vintage inspired Jadeite chandelier earrings and made some matching bracelets - a bit of an MCM play on traditional Chinese Jade bracelets.
