An outdoor family shoot is so much fun and can often be less stressful than being in a studio. Weddings are also a highlight for me. I not only love the photography aspect, but the interaction with the wedding party, family and guests. Who said that wedding photos have to be long and drawn out and tedious? I capture creative shots and every mood. Head shots are also something that is a must for business people. I provide the option of indoor or outdoor shots.

So much thought goes into creating a beautiful event. 🤍

The room.

The tables.

The flowers.

The place settings.

The little personal touches that probably took weeks, sometimes months, to plan.

And then the day arrives, and somehow it all moves by incredibly fast.

That’s why event photography is about more than capturing the people who were there.

It’s also about preserving the atmosphere, the effort, and all those thoughtful details that helped make the day feel special.

The wide photo that shows the whole room tells one part of the story.

The close-up of the table, the flowers, or the tiny detail someone chose so carefully tells another.

Together, they help you remember not just what happened, but everything that made the day feel like yours.

Because the big moments matter.

And so do the little things you worked so hard to make beautiful. 📸

The story lives in the details. 🤍

When we think about photographing a celebration, it’s easy to picture the big moments.

The group photos.
The hugs.
The smiles everyone sees.

But I’m always watching for the quieter pieces too.

The handwritten note.
The flowers someone carefully chose.
The few peaceful minutes tucked between all the activity.
The little details that might seem ordinary in the moment, but become part of how you remember the day.

Those are often the photographs that complete the story.

Because meaningful photography isn’t only about capturing what happened.

It’s about preserving the feeling, the details, and the moments you may not have even realized were worth remembering until you see them again. 📸

Your wedding day will be filled with beautiful portraits, but some of the photographs you treasure most may come from the moments you never planned.

Walking barefoot by the water.
A quiet laugh between the two of you.
The way someone looks at you when they think no one is watching.

Those little in-between moments are often where the real story lives.

I want your wedding gallery to do more than show you what your day looked like. I want it to bring back the excitement, the nerves, the laughter, the calm moments, and all the tiny details that made the day completely yours.

That first year somehow feels incredibly long and impossibly fast at the same time.

One minute you’re bringing home this tiny little person and learning everything about them.

Then suddenly they’re sitting, crawling, laughing, showing off their personality, getting into absolutely everything, and celebrating an entire year.

A first birthday is such a special milestone because so much changes in those first twelve months.

The baby face.

The little expressions.

The gummy smiles that slowly turn into tiny teeth.

The way they clap, giggle, scrunch their nose, or light up when they see something they love.

These are the details that feel completely ordinary right now, but they won’t stay this way for long.

That’s why I love first birthday portraits.

Yes, we’re celebrating ONE.

But we’re also capturing the little person they’ve become over that incredible first year.

The personality.

The joy.

The tiny toes.

And one wonderfully messy little cake. 🎂

Because next year they’ll look different again.

But you’ll always have this version of them.

One year old. One incredible milestone. One little chapter worth remembering. 📸

Captured just as they are. 🤍

That’s always the goal.

Family photos don’t need to feel stiff, overly posed, or stressful. In fact, some of the best images happen when everyone is relaxed enough to simply be themselves.

The kids can laugh.

The dog can wander.

Someone can look away from the camera.

And somehow, those are often the moments that end up feeling the most like your family.

I loved hearing that this session felt easy and comfortable for everyone, even the dog. That means so much to me because creating beautiful photos starts long before I press the shutter. It starts with making people feel comfortable enough to let their personalities show.

You don’t need a perfectly behaved family to have beautiful family photos.

You just need your people, exactly as they are.

If it’s been a while since you’ve had everyone together in front of the camera, this is your reminder that the perfect time doesn’t have to look perfect.

Kids don’t need to know how to pose to create beautiful photographs.

They just need permission to be themselves.

To twirl.

To laugh too loudly.

To make the funny face.

To show off the dance move they’ve been practicing approximately 437 times a day. 😉

Because when kids stop worrying about the camera, that’s often when their real personality starts to appear.

And that is what I want to photograph.

Of course, we’ll capture the beautiful portrait for the frame.

But I’m also looking for the movement, the expressions, the confidence, the silliness, and those completely unplanned moments that make you say:

“That is SO her.”

Those are the photographs that become more meaningful as the years pass.

Because someday she might not spin around the living room in her favourite dress anymore.

Her interests will change.

Her confidence will grow.

Her little-kid laugh will sound different.

But for one photograph, you get to keep a piece of who she was right here.

No perfect pose required.

Just let them be themselves, and let me capture the rest. 📸

There are always a few weeks near the end of summer when everything starts to shift.

The evenings get a little shorter.

Backpacks start appearing on the shopping list.

Schedules begin filling up again.

And suddenly, the slow summer days you thought you had plenty of are almost gone.

That’s usually when I start thinking about all the little moments that made up the season.

Bare feet.

Snacks on a blanket.

Beach days.

Messy hair.

Kids exploring without anywhere they need to be next.

None of these moments seem especially big while they’re happening, but they become part of the story of a summer you’ll never have in quite the same way again.

Next year, they’ll be taller.

A little more independent.

Interested in different things.

And this version of them will already feel farther away than you expected.

That’s why end-of-summer family photos can be so meaningful.

Not because everything needs to be perfectly coordinated or carefully posed, but because sometimes the best photographs are simply a record of what life looked and felt like right now.

Before the routines return and another school year begins, there’s still a little summer left to hold onto. 🤍

Not just what size shoes they wear.
Not just what grade they’re heading into.

But who they are in this exact season.

The sport they’re obsessed with.
The medal they’re proud of.
The way they laugh.
The little bit of confidence that seems to grow every time you look at them.

These are the details that change so quickly.

One day, the basketball is everything.
One day, that medal is the biggest deal in the world.
And one day, you’ll look back and realize this version of them was gone before you even noticed.

That’s why I love capturing kids in a way that leaves room for their personality to show.

Not perfectly posed.
Not overly polished.
Just real, joyful, and completely themselves.

Because years from now, these photos won’t just remind you what they looked like.

They’ll remind you who they were right then. 📸
