winter on the west coast.

I haven't been posting much lately as I've been shacked up with a broken wrist and no truck for the past month. But that doesn't stop me from going through photos from some of my trips in the past! This one is from a cold December morning at Grant Bay on the west coast of North Vancouver Island. Can't wait to get back out there!

The definition of “rain forest”

A couple years back I was hunting blacktails in an old growth Fir patch on the north island. At one point for about 20 minutes the skies opened up and torrential rain fell, the sun decided to come out during the rain storm and there you have it. Towering 200 ft tall fir trees, in a rainstorm, backlit by the sun.
