Tinikiling is considered a national dance in the Philippines and almost every Filipino knows how to do it. Since it’s a dramatic dance, it’s usually performed on special occasions like traditional Filipino festivals or at school and theater performances. Some say that this dance represents most Filipinos’ two main character traits: They’re resilient and fun-loving. To dance the Tinikling, you need two pairs of bamboo poles that are each 6-12ft long.

"SINGKIL" (Ethnic dance in the Philippines)

Singkil was initially performed as a ritual for festivals and ceremonial rites of passage by the Maranao prince and princess to define their courting. It is to present her eligibility in a conscious or unconscious advertisement to potential suitors for her future marriage while displaying the agility of the young girl turning into a woman with every step.

The Singkil is danced with fans and bamboo poles and is an expression of grace delicately balanced within danger, as the dancers must step nimbly between moving bamboo poles that could trip them up or crush their ankles with a single mistake. It is named after the heavy leg bracelets or anklets of silver, nickel, or brass with chiming bells of the same name worn on the ankles of the Maranao princess. But it is also the act of voluntarily or accidentally entangling the feet in either vines or tall grass because the word "singkil" literally means "to twist the feet with disturbing objects."

"God knows that money is on our mind a lot. So much so that Jesus spoke and taught about money more than he did any other topic! God knows that greed will destroy us. If we become focused on accumulating more wealth, we become focused and driven by greed and are never content. Often, greed opens the door to other sins and we find ourselves falling farther from God and what He has for our lives. We must be careful to protect our hearts and minds against greed and to practice contentment. Dear Heavenly Father, Fill my heart with hunger for you and not for the things of this world. Jesus said......"Unless we repent we will all likewise perish!"🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

"In Luke 13:3–5, He tells the sinful people to reconcile with the God they have sinned against. Here, He shows how He is trying to orchestrate reconciliation between God and the sinful nation. Jesus uses real-world examples to show that tragedy and death can come to anyone, even the righteous. No one should delay in reconciling to God; time is running out. He points out that the time to do so is short, but reconciliation is much better than judgment. The concept of "repentance" is sometimes difficult to grasp. Literally, it means "to change one's mind." It means to acknowledge you did something wrong, agree you need to not do it again, and endeavor to stop doing it. The most important is repentance that leads to salvation. We need to admit that we are sinners, admit we have wronged God, ask for His forgiveness, and agree that we need to change our hearts, minds and actions so that our fellowship with God will be restored. Sometimes we need to repent many times for the same sin. We do not need to be a Bible scholar to understand that Luke 13:3-5, that we all need repentance because "ALL" of us fall short and Jesus said.."Unless you repent you will all likewise perish.”🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we know that life is a mist, and that not one of us is guaranteed tomorrow. Help us to make today count for Your Glory. Help us to live in a continual state of repentance, of turning from sin and following You, and trusting You, and loving You, and honoring You, and glorifying You. If something were to happen to me, like two seconds from now, I pray I want my heart to be right before You. I pray, if anybody’s reading this right now, who doesn’t know You, has never repented, turned from their sin, and themselves, and believed in Jesus, that they would do that today, right now. We want to be right with You by Your Grace, by Your Mercy at every single moment. And we want to live with urgency to make the Good News, the Gospel of repentance, and belief in Jesus known all around us. So God, we pray for that kind of urgency as we live in a world of moral evil, and natural evil. God, we pray that you would use our lives to lead other people to repent, to trust in You. "Looking forward for THE Lord's NEW Creation, How About You?"🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

"What we have here in Isaiah 65 is God presenting the creation of 'new heavens' and a 'new earth'. The gist of Isaiah 65:17-20, therefore, is that God’s “people,” His “chosen ones”, His “blessed offspring” in Christ , will inherit the new Jerusalem, which will be like the Garden of Eden. All things will be made new. Death will be replaced with life. The whole earth will be a recreation of the garden, and the glory of the temple will cover it. God will raise the dead, renew all believers, and provide the new heavens and new earth, infused with divine glory in every aspect. In fact, the new creation will be fashioned into something far better than the garden of Eden, for never again will there be any possibility of another temptation to fall back into sin and death. ‘They will not do evil, nor will they destroy in all my holy mountain,’ says Yahweh. We Christians have long hoped that with the coming of Jesus, such a new world may appear and we remain convinced that new heaven and earth can and will come, and we continue to dedicate our lives to helping God bring it about. If we want to be a part of what God is going to do at the return of Jesus, we have to put our hope and faith in the person and work of the Lord Jesus now. This is also why we pray that God will change the hearts and minds of those who have yet to confess Christ as Lord and Savior. THE HOUR OF THE DIVINE MERCY

"The Tragedy and Danger of Unvelieving Heart!"🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

"Many times, we get things out of order – seeking proof so that we can be more comfortable to believe. People refuse to believe that which they don’t want to believe, in spite of evidence. I think we see here in this passage the tragedy of unbelief, that unbelief rejects the one whom God sent. Unbelief causes one to stumble over Christ and to perish eternally. Unbelief rejects the free gift of God-SALVATION. Unbelief is arrogance and pride and says, “I have my own way of salvation." Wherever there is pride there is a man at a distance from God; wherever there is deep humility, there is a man who feels that he is living near to God. Willful unbelief is both very wicked and very dangerous. It is wicked because it always requires more proof, keeps out people from coming to Christ and keeps out people from repenting of sin. It is dangerous because it blinds people to the truth, and condemns them at the Judgment. Holy Scriptures are the living Word of God. In 2 Peter 1:21 – "For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy" How might we know how, where, and to what the Holy Spirit leads? – through God's Word, the Bible. As what Saint Augustine quoted, "Seek not to understand that you may believe, but believe that you may understand.”🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

PRAYER
Heavenly Father, please help us to hold fast to the truth of Your Word and not let seeds of doubt and unbelief to germinate and grow in our hearts. Give us wisdom and discernment as we read through the whole council of Your Word-the BIBLE and guide us into all truth. We pray that You would align our thoughts to Your thoughts and our will to Your will, so we do not go astray or fall from grace through a doubting heart but stand fast in the evil day. Help us to take to heart the example of the Israelites who forfeited their rest through unbelief. Keep our eyes, minds and our hearts to be focused on Jesus, your son, our savior, Who is our promised rest, by grace through faith.............All of this I humbly ask and in the mighty name of your son, our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, our Savior and redeemer who came in the flesh for the atonement of all our sins, to your praise and glory! This I sincerely pray, AMEN!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

Eternal Father I offer you the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord, Jesus Christ in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world!

You died Jesus but the source of life flowed out for souls and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.

O fountain of Life, immeasurable Divine Mercy, cover the whole world and empty yourself out upon us.
