When first deciding to pursue photo documenting, it felt like a great way to express myself creatively, and have something to call my own. What I didn’t expect was how it would allow me to feel like such an integral part of peoples stories.

When I am allowed into the world, home, family etc of the clients I’ve had, I experience a warmth and intimacy that I didn’t expect, and I absolutely live for. When the most important people in a brides life are outside waiting to see them, I’ve been able to spend the day laughing with her, helping find her cell phone, wiping happy tears and keeping the group on track for time. When looking back at the photos of the event, I get to relive it through my own lens.

The intimacy that the photos you’ll receive are the moments in your life from my point of view; how I saw it… it’s just, wow. Thank you for those past clients, and those in future who have given me the privilege of that. Please know how special it is for me ❤️

I’ve been thinking about what sets Blonde apart. Human connection shouldn’t be forced. It should come across naturally. You will find that I tend to lean towards shooting lifestyle as opposed to the posed ‘everyone look at the camera and smile’ shots (although those always have their place!). I care about capturing a beautiful glimpse into genuine moments, like between a Dad as swings his little girl in the air and watches her face light up with glee. An absolutely in-love couple who can’t get enough of each other. The sheer pride on a grandmas face as she watches generations of her family connecting over dinner. Cousins cracking up on the dance floor because they still remember all the moves to the choreographed dance they made as kid’s. These kind of moments are our ‘why’. A little glimpse of time for you to look back and feel like you’re right there again. These moments are worth remembering ✨

I’ve taken a bit of a hiatus from shooting, and have never consistently posted on my page, but I’m ready to get my creative outlet back 👏🏻
I haven’t done this yet, but a bit about me;

〰️I will fight to the death that I’m not some basic bitch, but if the Starbucks fits..
〰️I’m very into design, art and the beauty of things and I’ve found that it somehow affects nearly all areas of my life (positively!)
〰️I’m a new mom to a little dreamboat named Max. I didn’t want to be defined by that before having him, but my entire being and identity has been changed 🙃 and I’m not mad at
〰️Personality defined as Free spirited/Scorpio/ENFP
〰️I am the kind of person who puts a lot into my decisions. Even small things like spending 20 minutes meticulously combing through every birthday card option until I’m sure I’ve found the most appropriate one for its respective recipient
〰️I almost exclusively watch trash reality television 🙈
〰️I will use my voice to fight for the things I believe in ✌🏻

It was important to me when branding for BLONDE that it had an edge, stood apart and represented a part my aesthetic that I’m proud of. What I also need you to know is that I care a lot about documenting your moments in time! I tend to lean towards candid shots rather than rigid posing, which finds more organic/real memories. I’m so elated that you’re here, thank you for following and I can’t wait for what is to come 🙌🏻
