Well after trying for 2 years I finally got to Marchias Seal Island to photograph the Atlantic Puffins.
The Atlantic Puffin is often called the clown of the sea. It breeds in burrows on islands in the North Atlantic, and winters at sea. In flight puffins flap their small wings.
It was an amazing experience to have them all so close. Here are a few to start with.

Well my Whale Watching trip was a BUST this morning, way too much fog and a very rough and rolling sea!
Did get to see this bird for the first time called a
Shearwater -
These tubenose birds fly with stiff wings and use a "shearing" flight technique (flying very close to the water and seemingly cutting or "shearing" the tips of waves)
Not the clearest of shots due to the fog but nice to see.

Portraits of some wolves from Parc Omega. I love how the 4 year old wanted to play with the senior (father) even though the male was laying guard of the newly born pups and Mother who were still in the den ( staff told us they have heard sounds but still will not know for a few more weeks as to how many babies she has) Father and Son still bonded as a pack.
