Happy August! ☀️ I hope everyone is having an amazing summer. It's hard to believe how quickly it's flying by!

I've been pretty quiet on here lately because I've been enjoying some time off work, spending my days with my family, making memories, and soaking up every minute of this season together.

As I continue to receive messages and emails asking about fall sessions, I feel like now is the right time to let you all know that I'll be taking a break from photography starting in September.

My life is about to look very different, and there are some big changes ahead for my family. Because of that, I won't be able to commit to a full fall season of photography this year.

That said, my creative heart isn't going anywhere! If I happen to have a day available for a set of mini sessions, I'll post it on my stories. And knowing me, you'll probably still see the occasional creative session pop up here and there—I don't think I'll ever be able to stay away completely.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for supporting my little business over the years and for trusting me to capture some of your most precious memories. It has truly meant more to me than you'll ever know.

Sending so much love to each and every one of you. Have the most beautiful rest of your summer!

The forecast called for wind and clouds... but all we saw was adventure. ⛵️🤍

A week of sailing lessons, incredible instructors, big waves, and even bigger memories. Watching my girls learn, grow, and fall in love with sailing was something truly special.

One day these girls will be grown.

The dirt will wash off the shoes, the dugout will sit empty, and the signed softball will end up on a shelf somewhere. But long after the games are forgotten, they'll remember this—running wild until sunset, laughing until their stomachs hurt, sharing bottled pop in the dugout, and feeling like summer would last forever.

These are the days they'll spend a lifetime missing.
For now, they're just girls with big dreams, messy hair, scraped knees, and their friends beside them.
And somehow, that's everything. 🥎🤍
