What do you do when you have an abundance of cherries? Make everything cherry!! 🍒 These cherry custard & chocolate tarts where made from the cherries picked off the old cherry tree in our backyard. This tree had been very neglected when we got our place, but with a little pruning and TLC it's doing great and produced an amazing amount of fruit this year! 🍒♥️

Baking in Blue! 💙 One of the things I love about getting farm fresh ingredients are the local eggs that come in a unique variety of shape, size, and colour. These beautiful light blue eggs brought a splash of soft colour into the kitchen and inspired a bit of a blue theme with these homemade vanilla cupcakes!
