Roper American Bulldogs SW Ontario, Canada. All around standard type American Bulldogs with multiple generations health tested and certified, proven structure in show ring.

Proven stable temperaments for both sport dog and family companion. My focus is staying true to the Standard Type American Bulldog breed, producing a dog that is true to type, as well as with a functional purpose. I strive to produce a dog that can be an excellent working dog, yet still remain as a stable family companion. All of my dogs have been tested on wild boars, and I have travelled to huge

distances to get them in the woods on real hunts. I am very aware of their strengths and weaknesses both physically and mentally, and as such I select breedings accordingly, while knowing all pups can't possibly go into working homes, and subsequently must find good active pet homes where they can continue to thrive and give another family the pleasure of owning a bulldog.

Travelling does not need to be complicated. A safe crate, their food in a ziploc bag and some paste to ensure gut health is optimal!

My girls...a massive round of storms last night. Not a peep or stress moment. Tornado literally touched down all around us and jumped over where our air bnb was last night. Cannot say enough good things about their bomb proof nerves. These two girls are both just finishing up their heats, never get turned out together yet voila...magic around each other! Rock solid temperaments!

This little beauty will be coming to Canada this summer and joining our show team and program. He will be raised and living with a rockstar Co owner and doing all the things a sport dog does. He is out of Sparky (Roper Light My Fire at Chestnuts = Muskoka Strong First Century Gladiator x Roper Aurora of Acadia) whom we produced and Oni (Chestnut's Little Zumi). I will let his new person to share the news before posting their name. :)

Today was the first insemination...and as you can see by the drool and stoned look...she is still a little out of it. Insemination 2 tomorrow then she sleeps off the sedative for the drive to Premiers. Not so sure how she will handle, but Cayden wants to show his girl in that top 10 ring that she earned a spot in. She won't be in her best form, but she will be there!

For those concerned...this is a simple Transcervical Artificial Insemination procedure, and for accuracy, it is super important to get the frozen thawed semen into the right location...and she is a wiggle worm, so it was just a little sedative and she drooled the whole way home sleeping. We like to laugh lots around here, and share the reality of investment in our program! She was not harmed, just a little d***y and drooley!

1st pick male has opened up for a show or working home. A change of plans in my co own placement has now opened this opportunity for another program.

Maple had other plans for Premiers for us and we have to withdraw from specialty shows on the 10th. Now we cross fingers the blood work on the 9th is green light so we are not delayed another day and missing Top 10 as well! Cross fingers for 2 successful TCAI's.

Little change...Quinn decided to come in heat at same time as Maple. There is no way on God's green earth I am doing two litters at the same time again. Her breeding with Bolt will be postponed. She just turned 2...lots of time!
