A snap from when .official, and .ventures came to visit KCDC whilst making their recent film!

This , meet Bethany, a student at Kyaninga Inclusive Model School (KIMS) 💛 Bethany is prelingually deaf, meaning she became deaf before acquiring language, so it’s unlikely she will ever be able to speak. But at KIMS, that doesn’t limit her potential! 🌟 Our inclusive environment encourages the use of sign language and gestures both inside and outside the classroom. Our sign language teaching typically begins with simple signs as the children grow more confident in this supportive space.

If you haven’t seen it already, don’t miss .official’s latest film about Christine and Adriel, a mother and teacher at KIMS, and her son and student at KIMS 🎥💛 Head to their bio to watch it and be inspired by the amazing journeys happening right here at Kyaninga!

𝗜𝗰𝗲𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝘆𝗮𝗿𝗱: a place where time stops, a place where you can feel the magnitude of this area, yet so fragile. A place where you can hear nothing else than the ice that clash with the water. A place where you feel small, but empowers you to do better to keep it as is. 🧊

_________
A personal project has now become the creation of a short film for climate actions and conscious travels with an all-female crew (Jessica Racanelli x Alexandra Walsh ) and brands coming together to support this vision for a better future for the next generations.

From day one, supported by Faculté d'aménagement, d'architecture, d'art et de design Université Laval

Brands that made this possible and joined us:
for providing us with sustainable clothing made here in Canada.

Gutsy Kombucha fam, for boosting my health back in Quebec to Antarctica with fermented drinks integrating adaptogenic plants.

GURU Boisson Énergie Bio x Protect Our Winters Canada , for giving me ressources before the expedition.

Lastly, shoutout to Nomadix and Hot Poc. for supplying us with sustainable oriented equipment!
