I am bad at updating this place, but I swear I constantly have a camera on me. Erika and I teamed up this summer and took our kids camping a few weekends together. Everyone has different comfort levels with kids and social media, but I snagged this one of her and her boy that has enough anonymity that I could post it. They are the cutest.

These angels are expecting their first baby this fall and asked for some photos together before they welcome their little bundle into this world. The day before our shoot, I walked around Three Mile at 830AM and couldn't get over how beautiful the river was with the sun peeking through the tree line and the fog floating above the river. They were good sports when I asked how early they'd be willing to wake up and get somewhere, but unfortunately the next morning was cloudy and too warm for the same fog. But, while we were there, it went from overcast to full sun, so we were able to catch a few different vibes and some gorgeous light. Sometimes the universe has a way of delivering what you need in ways you don't expect.

How sweet is this little family of 4? The smoke lifted and the sun came out, so we took advantage of a beauty day and did a quick mini session. I saw this little path on a walk a few days before and KNEW I had to take some pictures here. It was so cute and lush, and we couldn't have asked for a sky any more blue. 🌞

My son and I have done a few day trips this past month exploring some areas around us, and man does Alberta have such a diverse landscape. This was Horsethief Canyon, only 1.5 hours away from us and it's like going to a new planet.

The explorable area here was pretty small, and getting down to the paths was really steep. That meant going back up to the parking area was also really steep, and since then he has told everyone who will listen that he climbed a mountain. I think our next trip will be to actual mountains.

The first photo in this set is, to this day, one of my favorites I've ever taken. Film creates such a nice atmosphere, and that combined with the authenticity you can see from Jessica made it such a surreal capture. I always say I'm going to shoot more color film, but black and white is just too good 😩

It's friendship photo time when it's +3 degrees out in February! Thank you to the Sun for blessing us with picture perfect lighting, and to Ginger for being the goodest girl 😌 Here's some quick digital sneaks while we wait for the film to come back from the lab 🫣

Nothing is more exciting than watching one of your closest friends embark on a new chapter in life. Jessica and I have been friends since we were KIDS. Now we are both mothers and neither of us have really processed that. We're always in a state of shock when we're like, "hey, we're both moms now!" Life has a way of taking you to places you never really imagined you'd ever go.

I got the privilege to take pictures of her baby shower over the summer, and I couldn't be more pleased with how candid and intimate the afternoon came together on film.

Hi 👋 After several years of encouragement and (not so) gentle nudging, I’ve decided to take the plunge and take a kick at this photography thing. I’ve been doing it as a hobby for nearly 10 years now, with experience in a semi-professional capacity for commercial and portrait photography (thank you to my friends). I also have a fair amount of experience in front of the camera as a model that’s been featured in magazines and international galleries - so please don’t stress about being in front of the camera because I’ve got you! I’m primarily film based, which I think creates intention behind each shot that makes for some really unforgettable photos. But, while film may have my heart, you’ll always find me dual wielding a film AND a digital camera.

Currently, I’m offering 15 minute mini sessions for $100 until the end of February. This will include at least 10 digital copies of your photos. Let me know what you’re thinking, and I’ll be eternally grateful if you spread the word 🫣 We’ve got warm weather coming! Thanks!
