✨ A Few Exciting Changes Are Coming Tomorrow! ✨

After 5 amazing years of photographing your families, I've learned a lot about what creates the best experience and the most beautiful galleries.

Starting June 1st, I'll be making some updates to my session offerings and pricing.

📸 Mini Sessions are getting a refresh!
I've decided to move away from 15-minute sessions and instead offer 30-minute Mini Sessions. This gives us more time for genuine smiles, less rushing, more variety, and a more relaxed experience overall.
I will offer the occasional micro mini where it makes sense, but for the experience I want to be able to provide, this just feels right!

📸 Session packages are being simplified
My packages will be restructured to better reflect the way most of my clients book and the experience I love providing.
My 30-minute package for full sessions will no longer be available after today!

📸 Pricing adjustments
As my business continues to grow, pricing will be adjusted beginning tomorrow, June 1st. Any sessions booked before then will be locked in at current rates.

My goal has always been to provide beautiful images while creating a fun, stress-free experience for your family, and these changes will help me do exactly that. 🤍

Happy 1st Wedding Anniversary to Cindy & Luke!! 🤍🥂

One year ago today, I photographed my very first wedding. 🤍🏔️

The funny part?

When Cindy and Luke first asked me about photographing their wedding, I didn't even own a camera...

At the time, I was doing photography with my phone. In fact, I'd already had several people ask me to photograph their weddings, but I always said no. Weddings are once-in-a-lifetime moments, and I couldn't bring myself to risk someone regretting their photos someday.

But Cindy and Luke believed in me anyway.

A few weeks later, I bought my first camera.

Then before I knew it, I was standing in Banff photographing my very first wedding.

Looking back through this gallery today feels a little surreal. Not because everything was perfect, but because it reminds me how much trust this couple placed in me before I had a wedding portfolio, years of experience, or much more than a dream and a whole lot of determination.

Even on my very first wedding day, my goal wasn't perfect photos (okay maybe as perfect as possible lol). It was making sure this couple would never forget how their wedding felt.

I will never forget how grateful Cindy and Luke were to have me there that day, and I will always be grateful that they gave me the opportunity.

This wedding helped shape the path I'm on today.

Thank you, Cindy and Luke, for taking a chance on me and for being such an important part of my photography journey. I hope you enjoy your trip to the mountains this year while you reminisce on what an amazing and beautiful wedding you had surrounded by loved ones and close friends!

5 years ago I was doing my daughter’s 2nd birthday photos (excuse me while I cry about having a 7 year old 😭) when I said,
“Gosh, I wish this could be my job.”

Months of milestone photos and little sets just for my forever muse sparked both the creative side of me… and the entrepreneur in me. ✨

And so, “Affordable & Adorable Children’s Photography and Set Design” was officially created.

I offered sessions for dirt cheap after a few model calls (like… $60 for a 1 hour session in a custom setup with hundreds of photos 😅), and I charged separately for editing because I wanted families to have a cheaper option.
YES, I used my phone. 😂😳🫣
BUT despite my shortcomings at the time, I had the absolute honor of photographing over 500 sessions during my years as a mobile photographer… and so many of those families still come back to me now, all these years later. That part honestly means more to me than I can explain.

What started as “I need a way to help support my family and do something I love” slowly became something so much bigger.
A dream.
A passion.
A business that somehow survived the newborn years, burnout, imposter syndrome, algorithm changes, self-doubt, raising babies, learning literally EVERYTHING as I went, and approximately 47 moments where I almost convinced myself to quit. 🤪

Fun fact: around 50% of small businesses don’t make it to the 5 year mark… which honestly makes me extra emotional writing this today.
Because this business was never built on perfection. It was built on love, creativity, stubbornness, and a camera roll full of tiny humans in adorable setups. 🥹

There were seasons where I felt wildly confident, and seasons where I questioned every single thing I created. But no matter how many times I almost gave up, I couldn’t fully walk away from this.

Photography has become part of who I am.
And now here I am… 5 years later.
Still learning.
Still growing.
Still chasing the feeling that made me fall in love with this in the first place.
To every single person who trusted me with your memories over the last 5 years: thank you. Truly. You helped turn a scary little “what if?” into a real life career.

And to my sweet birthday girl who unknowingly started it all just by being my muse… thank you for giving me the courage to dream bigger. 💛
