I’m sitting in a restaurant in Canmore, kid free, by my self. What is this life????

No, I’d never wish it away. Ever. My kids are everything. My absolute everything. But, I think there’s a time in every mom’s journey where you crave a little bit of who you “used” to be. The lack of responsibility. The lack of planning, worrying, stressing. Let me tell you, it was no walk in the park to organize leaving my kids for two nights, but I did it and I’m going to enjoy it. And most of all, they’re going to enjoy it. Because they’re making memories with people that love them almost as much as I do.
