Solo portraits aren’t about vanity.
They’re about seeing yourself as you are. Your story, your personality, your beauty, your weird little details, your strength, your softness.
Last night, I spent time in front of the camera, and it reminded me how beautiful it is to create and document yourself.
Because one day, you’ll look back and realize you deserved to be photographed, too. Not just as a parent, a partner, or someone behind the camera, but as yourself.
Anyway, I think it's important to see yourself the way the world sees you.
