I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Sydney Ducharme & Cory Ducharme's wedding.

I am so glad they finally (after three attempts) got to have the special day they envisioned, to celebrate with their family and friends.

This couple was so fun to work with. Their joy shines through in all of the pictures. You can feel how in love they are with one another.

They tied-the-knot at the bride's family farm, just outside Lacombe. It is a gorgeous location and was a stunning backdrop for their photos.

I was really excited, when Sydney asked if we could get some shots with her horse. They turned out beautifully. (You can't even tell this mischievous, gelding was trying to eat her bouquet).

We had a wonderfully relaxing weekend get away with the family. It was a great feeling to be unplugged for a few days but with so much stunning natural beauty around I was sure glad I had packed my camera.

This photo session doubles as an adoption announcement for this family. Their twin boys (on each end) became official/legal members of their family, after being a part of their family for over a year.

It was such a special milestone to get to capture and I felt honoured to get to be a small part of the celebration of this life changing even in all their lives.

These two are saying their vows tomorrow! And, I can't wait to capture every minute of it!

This is my first (and only) wedding of the season!
(Since, I am technically on maternity leave and also moving back to Edmonton in the middle of the summer.) I'm super excited that I still scheduled this one though because I love weddings so much. We shot this engagement session back in January. According to the forecast it looks like we might still have snow on the ground for their big day too.
