I shot this sweet newborn session over the winter and thinking about how much Lee must have grown since the makes me emotional.

The newborn stage is exhausting, it’s hard to adjust to being a new parent running on very little sleep with a tiny human in your care that didn’t come with any instructions but it’s also the most precious time, while they can still snuggle their tiny bodies on your chest for a contact nap.

Watching them slowly gain consciousness and discover the world around them is one of the most magical parts of parenthood. 🥺

Hello again instagram! I took a little break from social media and the pressure of writing captions and posting anything other than random dog pics on my stories but I’m still doing my thing over here!

Do you guys also miss when IG was timeline based and you could actually see your friend’s posts and reach that “you’re all caught up!” end of scroll? Simpler times.

Anyway, here’s a cute little maternity session I did for some dear clients of mine who are expecting their second child soon! These are the truly meaningful things in this life, spending time with family, enjoying nature, and watching our little ones grow, learn, and explore. ❤️
