My name is Alexandra Payne and I am a professional portrait and boudoir photographer. I recently graduated from my 2-year program at getting my diploma is photographic technology. It means I am technically trained so making images look technically good is my second nature. It means I can focus much more on the creative side of photography. It means I spe
nd less time worrying about what the camera is doing and more time walking you through making you look your absolute best! They can be short simple sessions or long intricate ones. There really isn’t a limit. I even offer conceptual portrait sessions! So we collaborate on an idea and make it happen! The goal of my portraits sessions are working in the person’s personality. I honestly am not a fan of basic posed images because it doesn’t really show my clients in the images. The goal of my sessions are not to make stock images, but to make useable images for you! Not for somebody else. My goal is to make you happy with your images and how you look in them. I prefer to call my boudoir sessions beauty sessions as boudoir is about making the woman feel beautiful for herself, not whoever she may or may not give the images to. If you were to search boudoir on google you would find a lot of the same things. I am a photographer who doesn’t like to do what everyone else is doing. Sure, I will still take a lot of those pictures so you get the best selection when choosing your images to put into albums, but they usually aren’t the ones I add to my portfolio. With Payneless photography I try to make each session as painless as possible and as comfortable as possible. When people think of a professional photographer they tend to think studio, but the best pictures aren’t taken in a studio, they are taken in a place you feel comfortable and more open. It makes for less nervous clients and more personable and unique images. If you feel your home or selected room(s) is unfit, then you can choose to have your pictures done in a hotel or a friend’s house, or even outside. If we go back to the google search for a second, you will notice a lot of minimal clothing, though that is typically what boudoir seems to be you get to choose what to wear. You can wear flags, sweaters, nothing, blankets. You get to dress to your comfort level. Also, don’t feel obligated to go out and buy new lingerie. You may be surprised of all the things you already have. If you have any other questions or would like to know a little more about me, feel free to shoot me a question and ask! :D
