1 month of August Rocky 💕 We are so incredibly lucky to have him here with us, and fall more and more in love everyday with him. He is such a happy, content, quiet little guy, and absolutely perfect addition to our lives💙

Huge shout out to the all the amazing photographers in our area that took over multiple sessions for me over the past year and a half while dealing with a long journey of medical issues after a pregnancy loss. I’m so very lucky to be able to reach out for help in this community of many photographers.

There was a time last year were we thought growing our family may not happen, so I’m soaking up all the baby bliss with our wonderful surprise rainbow baby boy 💕 I will join the photography world again once I’m ready, now that my love for photographing babies again will be sure to come back to me.

Here are some favourites from the amazing .photo (newborn photos) and (maternity) who both took the bulk of my newborn sessions I had to pass on last year.

Thanks again to these two and more ladies who helped me out, and all the great clients I had to cancel sessions on who were so understanding.

Sometimes the best moments are at home, when it’s a day of doing nothing. Amongst the tornado that is toys, dog hair, and dirty dishes. With messy hair and untidy clothes and mismatched socks.

It’s okay to want the perfect location and perfect new outfits for your photos, but remember to capture and sit with the real life moments. The lazy days at home just might be what you and your family will remember most, and I’m here for it if that’s the type of family photos you want to create 💛

Capture all the moments. Especially in that first year when your little one looks so grown from one week to the next.

I have probably about a 500 page photobook from Atlas first year, because I couldn’t not include all the photos, even including blurry saved Snapchat images.

Take the images, keep them safe on hard drives, and especially print them where you can enjoy seeing your the best lived moments everyday. Photos are our best memory keepers 💕

This year I feel like I’ve been extra terrible at sharing. A 3 year old and life with no more nap schedule has been a trying routine this past season. Now that my quiet season is soon to begin I’m looking forward to slowing down, going on some much needed vacations, implementing some changes to my business and hopefully be here to share so much art that I’ve created this past year that I’ve neglected to share.

If you’ve been a client of mine in 2023 and wondered why you haven’t seen your pretty faces on my feed, don’t worry. You’re not the only one not here. I’m just always kept running on my toes with this silly little toddler and business of mine.
