Throwback to these photos that I captured a few years ago in Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan.πΎ
Both images were edited to portray a "vintage" look. The first photo was enhanced to be very vibrant, while also increasing the "noise" levels to create a fuzzy look to the photo. I wanted to capture the history of Danceland, that was constructed in 1928 and open since 1930 by Wellington White. Danceland sits on the edge of Little Manitou Lake and is famously known for the horsehair dance floor. πππΊ
While the red vintage car (I believe being a 1955-1957 Buick Century Classic) was an unplanned part of this photo, the moment was truly beautiful and tied this "vintage" look together. The results of this photo portrays a story perfectly. It honestly feels like a flashback to the past, as if this moment is frozen in time, and the history of Danceland remains alive in this photo. β¨
