Hey y'all!

Truly, I'm shocked I don't have a few thousand photos from my time in Banff & Lake Louise. I think it's because I was simply living in the moment and soaking up the beauty of nature in real time. But I captured a few good photos, at the minimum (lol). Perhaps next time I will be fully prepared to capture it all. 📸

Howdy!🤙🏼

I can't seem to stop taking pictures of squirrels any chance I get and quite honestly, there's no regrets. They are SO cute. When I visited Calgary in the fall of 2024 - I captured my first black squirrel and it felt like I was a kid in a candy store.

I also captured another picture of a bird (of course), and a couple pics of a doggo. Aren't these just the cutest?

If y'all don't already know - I love macro-style photography. This style of photography I have been working on for quite some time and slowly getting better at. This capture in particular I am proud of because of how small this spider and its web actually looked on my balcony compared to how this photo makes it appear. 📸

Also, I'm not a big fan of spiders so it was a blessing to take this picture from a distance. But regardless of not liking spiders, they look cool for a photo 😆.

Knock, knock...👋

Howdy all! I've been on a bit of a hiatus as of late... 🫣 I've had my focus in many different areas of my life, and photography just hasn't been at the forefront.

My passion for photography will never be silenced, but I definitely let it slip to my back pocket. Over the last year or so, I have taken a few photos here and there that I have failed to share so I thought I'd attempt to start sharing them for y'all to see! I'll be posting these in different rounds, so stay tuned! 😁

Throwback to these photos that I captured a few years ago in Manitou Beach, Saskatchewan.🌾

Both images were edited to portray a "vintage" look. The first photo was enhanced to be very vibrant, while also increasing the "noise" levels to create a fuzzy look to the photo. I wanted to capture the history of Danceland, that was constructed in 1928 and open since 1930 by Wellington White. Danceland sits on the edge of Little Manitou Lake and is famously known for the horsehair dance floor. 🌈💃🕺

While the red vintage car (I believe being a 1955-1957 Buick Century Classic) was an unplanned part of this photo, the moment was truly beautiful and tied this "vintage" look together. The results of this photo portrays a story perfectly. It honestly feels like a flashback to the past, as if this moment is frozen in time, and the history of Danceland remains alive in this photo. ✨

I went on a Banff trip back in December and never shared half of the content I got. However, I spent more time in the moment than I did with my actual camera and any content I did get was mainly on my phone... that wasn't so photographer of me 😆.

Out of the slim collection of photos I took on my camera, I liked these two the most so I decided to edit them and share with y'all. Hopefully next time I go.... I spend more time using this eye of mine to capture some more beautiful photos.

On my journey of discovering where I want my focus to be, I'm always trying something new and finding areas of interest.

These were taken just for fun. Seaweed and chicken salad? Don't knock it until you try it 😗. I liked how these turned out, and thought "hey, if this was an ad... I'd want to try this dish" so here they are! 👀🍴

I should start taking more photos of my at-home meals because I could get some good content captured... 😋

Spring is here, which means Summer is right around the corner and if you ask me, I MISS nature. 🌱

These photos were taken last summer and my goal was to play around with my new camera. I specifically wanted to focus on close-ups, nature, and animals- which I always enjoy doing.

I am pretty pleased with these photos. I think they are simple, but beautiful. I especially enjoy the close ups of the ants in their natural environment. Though I know what I could improve, this was my first session playing around with my new camera and lens and I believe these are share-worthy photos. 🐜

Hey everybody! 😁

I wanted to get back to sharing my photography. It's been a while, and I have so many photos hiding away in folders on my computer that have been neglected and forgotten about for MONTHS. 🫣

I reminded myself the other day that I can't expect my art to be seen by people if I don't share it... so here I am, jumping back into the game.

I met this little guy back in fall, sometime around September if I recall, and I LOVED being able to capture a few shots of him. If you ask me, this Squirrel was LOVING his moment to pose... what do you think? 📸
