Regina! Want to learn how to use your cameras 📷 📱to take a sharp portrait of your bundled up kiddo or a moody Regina landscape?
Capture the Magic of Winter is a photo exploration and exhibition. After watching the beginner photo class (www.playyqr.ca), head outside and put those new skills to use by taking some winter photographs in Regina. All the info is on the Play YQR website and I’ll be doing a live Q&A on Sunday, January 17th at 7:30pm!
I hope you’ll participate!
Hi, Facebook! We have something special to share with you.
Sponsored by the City of Regina, we invite you to participate in a virtual photography workshop and community photo exhibit with local professional photographer Danielle Tocker Photography 📸❄️🎈(the photos included in this post are hers: she’s a marvel).
Danielle covers the basics of smartphone and digital SLR photography and offers information specific to winter outdoor portraits, action shots of winter play, creating an interesting composition, and more. Join Danielle Tocker Photography for a live Q&A on Sunday, January 17th at 7:30pm Saskatchewan time. Head out and explore your favourite outdoor spaces (or take Danielle up on her recommendations of beautiful spaces to explore and photograph). To have your photos displayed in the community outdoor and virtual photography exhibit, submit up to 5 photographs before February 1st. You may choose to have your name displayed with your photos or leave them anonymous. The exhibit opens on February 10th ❤️❄️
This program is for adults and youth aged 12+ and is free. We hope you participate, and please follow the current SHA guidelines while outdoors taking your photos. Use if you want others to find your photos on social media- or explore other playful participants’ work ❄️☺. All the details and content is on our website, www.PlayYQR.ca. Check out Regina.ca/WinterFun for more fun winter activities. We are thrilled for this opportunity to frame Regina as the magical winter wonderland that it is, and to demonstrate the resilience and playfulness of its community. Cheers!
