People see the trucks.
I see the team.

On a day when the heat is relentless, every firefighter on that scene is counting on the person beside them. Nobody wins a fire alone. Just like in sports, the best teams aren’t built on individual talent they’re built on trust.

One firefighter stretches the line. One forces the door. One team searches. One team ventilates. One watches the crew. Every job matters.

The scoreboard isn’t points.It’s everyone going home.

To the crews working through another scorching Regina day, thank you for showing what teamwork really looks like.

There’s just something different about live music under an open prairie sky.

No walls. No roof. Just great bands, good friends, lawn chairs, cold drinks, and a community coming together for something bigger than a concert.

That’s what River Jam in Estevan is all about.

And let’s be honest... if Fog Dog shows up in an Adidas tracksuit, you already know it’s going to be a damn good night of rock and roll.

It doesn’t happen by accident. It takes people willing to put in countless hours behind the scenes, and this year’s event is the result of the hard work of the Knights of Columbus, Hidden Valley Golf Course owner Brad Dutton, promoter Rod Benning, fundraising chair Alan Kendall, and an army of volunteers.

When thousands of people gather to sing along under the stars, they’re not just making memories they’re supporting a community that believes in giving back.

Summer. Live music. Prairie skies.Good people.

Fifty years later... and Streetheart still knows how to make an entire town forget what decade it is.

Under the stars in Estevan, this wasn’t just another concert. It was a reminder of why some bands earn the right to celebrate 50 years.

The guitars still hit hard. The crowd still knew every word. And for a couple of hours, nobody cared about tomorrow.

You don’t stay together for half a century because of luck. You do it because you’ve spent 50 years giving people a reason to come back.

Happy 50th anniversary, Streetheart. Thanks for proving that real rock never goes out of style.

They’re just happy you came home.

Our dogs quietly become part of every chapter of our lives. They grow up with our kids, sit beside us on our hardest days, and somehow make ordinary moments feel important.

One day, the leash hangs on the hook a little longer, and the house gets a little quieter.

That’s why I believe they deserve more than phone snapshots.

They’re family.

And the photographs you take today will become some of the ones you treasure most tomorrow.

One of the best parts of shooting football isn’t just the action. It’s getting to know the players behind the helmet.

I met Corbyn on the football field. Week after week I’d watch him put in the work, compete, and represent his team the right way. Somewhere along the season he went from being another athlete in front of my lens to getting to know as a human being.

So when it came time to shoot his grad photos, it meant a little more. It’s pretty cool watching these young men grow from football players into graduates ready for whatever comes next.

Congratulations, Corbyn. Thanks for letting me capture another milestone in your journey. Wishing you nothing but success in whatever comes next.

Growing up as the daughter of a firefighter means you learn a few things early.

You learn that birthdays, Christmas mornings, graduations, and family dinners don’t always happen on schedule. Sometimes Dad is at the station. Sometimes he’s helping someone else’s family on what might be the worst day of their lives.

You also grow up knowing what service looks like. You see sacrifice without anyone asking for recognition. You learn that showing up for your community matters.

Then one day, you graduate.

And you stand beside the man who spent years missing moments so he could protect someone else’s. In that instant, it all comes full circle.

This isn’t just another grad photo. It’s a reminder of every shift worked, every late-night call, every hug that had to wait.

Pictures like this aren’t just memories.

They’re proof that behind every first responder is a family that served too.
